And thus begins ... the Saga of Going to the Party! Or the Party Saga. Or whatever, you guys think of a cool name.
Also, I had to use the ol' "superglue the mask to the face" joke at some point, because it's really the only way those tiny little face mask things could possibly stay on. That or double sided tape, which is really only for taping celebrity boobs to low-cut outfits, and wouldn't withstand punching a ninja.
Anyway. PARTY TIIIIIME!!
Wonderful work as always...
ReplyDeleteThat's how you can tell that Superhero Girl is a good guy. Not a single curse in that final speech bubble.
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS!!
ReplyDeleteI love this strip!!

Saga of Going to the Party = Superhero Girl's toughest mission yet? XD
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't suppose she was planning anything long term by supergluing her mask on her face?
Spirit gum! That's how the masks stay on. Spirit gum.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how they (like Robin, for example) would managed to keep these lousy masks on. Now I have my answer. :p
ReplyDeleteIf she'd used superglue, that yank would probably have taken off the skin underneath. Spirit gum is more likely. :)
ReplyDeleteSpirit gum is, indeed, the best-case scenario. However, rubber cement would probably also do the job, if she's lucky enough to not get a rash from it.
ReplyDeleteEric >> but she's a superhero, so her skin is tougher than average skin. Still would probably hurt, tho.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what spirit gum is.
"Spirit gum is an adhesive, made mostly of SD Alcohol 35-A (the solvent, or "spirit") and resin (the adhesive, or "gum"), used primarily for affixing wigs, merkins, false beards, and other costume prosthetics."
ReplyDeleteAnother great comic cant wait for more
ReplyDeleteAlso Happy Portal 2 day
I superglued my skirt to my leg once (not as a disguise). I had to walk around with a little square of cloth stuck to my leg for a week before I could slowly scratch it all off! Ow, her face!
ReplyDeleteOwwww.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder she keeps "forgetting" to take her mask off!
