Oops! Completely forgot to upload today's Superhero Girl comic. Sorry about that. XD I'm swamped with work at the moment and really frazzled. Apologies.
Yeah; currently he seems to have tact of a dump truck when trying to hit on her. Even if she weren't Kevin's sister, he still implies that she sucks as a superhero in panel two.
My name is Faith, and yes, I have seen a few guys' rooms. And guys tend to clean their rooms when they have girls coming over. So that's what happened here. He cleaned his room because a girl might see it.
Just spied those long-boxes on his floor- I bet it took him hours to get all his trades organized from being all over the place! *sigh* The lengths he's gone to for a (justifiably) unrequited crush.
SHG should sooo introduce him to shrinking hipster guy (see 38-41) there would be a battle like no other!!! geeks fighting over meaningless things = priceless
i'm super confused about if people know when she's a super and when she's not, i mean sometimes epople imply that she's the local superhero in conversation, but so far no one has pointed and said "hey! you're that super hero are'nt you!"
Aww, I actually feel really bad for skeptical guy (for the life of me, I cannot remember his real name) because he looked so happy and sincere when he though she was actually hugging it. I mean, just look at his face in panel five!
This comic is great and I really enjoy the whole dynamics between SHG and skeptical guy, especially how he really dishes on her superhero persona, but apparently really want to impress her citizen self, it's very cute.
Poor skeptical guy here though, but it is sorta funny as it is a reversal of their original meeting where she was trying to be nice and he trampled all over her pride, now the tables have been turned and she does the exact same thing to him.
While humorous, that's going just a liiitle too far, SHG. Let him keep his toys intact...though, really, once he said ti was hugable I knew something bad was going to happen to it. I actually thought it was going to be crushed into pulp so, lucky him?
No worries. Real life trumps comics any time, you know that.
ReplyDeleteI bet fanboy there would freak if he knew SHG was Kevin's sister. Heh.
Comics is work for Faith.
DeleteYeah; currently he seems to have tact of a dump truck when trying to hit on her. Even if she weren't Kevin's sister, he still implies that she sucks as a superhero in panel two.
ReplyDeleteHe's such a cutie though! Don't love him, SHG, but at least don't crush his adoration. :'[
ReplyDeleteB-rate (alright, struggling) superheroes, what is best in life?
ReplyDelete"To crush the villains
drive reporters before you
and hear the lamentations of fanboys."
Slightly paraphrased.
I like her top.
ReplyDeleteThe final three panels made my day. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteSo, Erin, have you every actually SEEN a guys room? That one is WAY too neat and tidy.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Faith, and yes, I have seen a few guys' rooms. And guys tend to clean their rooms when they have girls coming over. So that's what happened here. He cleaned his room because a girl might see it.
DeleteI have an 18 year old brother. His room is, and has always been, completely spotless.
DeleteMy 22 year old brother is the same, total neat freak. But my other two brother ... ew, rooms are always pig stys. So it's not common, but it happens.
Delete"Limited Edition Kevin!!" ...why does it make me so happy to keep repeating this in my mind?! With the girly-shriek voice of course...
ReplyDeleteIs there a Limited Edition SHG?
ReplyDeleteThis page is a great gag~ XD
ReplyDeleteI'll be smiling all afternoon.

ReplyDeleteAwww, Skeptical Guy has a toy pony in his collection. That's so adorable.
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, Kevin's parents aren't dead! He has no tragic back story! You, Skeptical Guy, have double standards! D:<
"Limited Edition Kevin!" is the funniest thing I've read all week. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Huh, my girlfirend just left for school wearing the exact same outfit as Superhero Girl (well, the same outfit plus a jacket).
ReplyDeleteCreeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.
Are you sure she isn't secretly a superhero?
DeleteSometimes I wonder about Skeptical Guy's "orientation". Not that it matters. "Hey girls, wanna look at my dolls??"
ReplyDeleteha! love it! especially her last line:oops.
ReplyDeletereminds me of grade school *sigh* good times.goood times. >:D
