Superhero Girl 83

I don't even know what the image on Kevin's chest is for. I think the scene went like this:
Me: Arraaagh so TIRED drawing comics ALL DAY AND NIGHT what kind of symbol should go on Kevin's chest?
Tim (boyfriend): I dunno. Maybe a "K" for Kevin?
Me: MOUNTAIN AN' RAINBOWS.
Tim: Why.
Me: BECAUSE BRAIN HURT.

Also: I promise last ninja joke for a while. The ninjas are all joked out.
Also also: Oh man, how awesome would it be to have super strength when you're moving? I hate moving! I have tiny flabby arms and can barely lift things, but if I had super strength like Superhero Girl? Maybe I'd not hate moving so much (probably not).

  3. Ninja jokes are okay, they're ninjas, it's their job to suddenly appear out of nowhere and vanish.
Kevin is nicer and cuter everytime you draw him, I am starting to be jealous of such a cool brother.

  4. if the city's crawling with ninjas like that in SHG's universe, I'd hate to see how cities in Japan are doing XD

  5. Kevin's wearing the super-hero outfit reserved for when all his regular ones are in the laundry basket. It's the one his Gramma gave him for Christmas.

So King Ninja got her kicked out of college, he stopped her getting a job, and even managed to turn being reformed of his even ways into a way to screw her over. Why on Earth was she looking elsewhere for her arch-nemesis? :)

He's even the one she dreamed of a Christmas team-up with.

  8. Tell me about it! I helped my parents move and stack two cords of wood from their driveway to the back and side of their house this weekend. My calves, lower back and arms still feel like I ran a marathon while lifting barbells. Super-strength would have been awesome.

But who am I kidding? With super-strength I'd probably be even fatter and lazier than I already am. Getting an effective workout must be way tougher for adult Superhero Girl.

  9. In SHG's universe, Japan is clearly crawling with pirates.

  10. You know what would be the greatest thing ever? Ninja moving. Empty house, look away, look back, HOUSE FULL OF STUFF. That's how ninjas do.

  12. Aww...poor Kev-y is so lonely without his kid sister :3

Also agree, ninja jokes have not yet been over done. Also reminds me of a page from one of the other webcomics I read regularly: http://www.grrlpowercomic.com/archives/346

  13. Ninjas are the cockroach of the super villain world. Small, creepy, and they scatter when the lights are turned on.
