In Watchmen (both the graphic novel and the film), Laurie and Dan reminisce about a masochistic villain they'd encountered years ago who called himself "Captain Carnage." He would commit a crime and then hang around waiting for a costumed crimefighter to show up and beat on him.
Yeahhh, he could have thought that out better. :D SHG's last line almost had me spitting coffee at my monitor. My work monitor. It's funny how simple lines like that can work so well, sometimes.
Clearly, falling standards are failing our prospective supervillains.
