Superhero Girl 74



I made this comic a little bigger 'cause I drew it bigger! Yay, size doesn't matter on the internets. Anyway, WAY TO HANG OUT JUST WATCHING AND NOT HELPING, SPECTACLE. But I think she knew this was one fight Superhero Girl had to win on her own, by any means necessary. Which in this case, was appealing to the buried goodness within Supervillain Girl, then punching her through space and time. Superhero Girl, you are a bit sneaky when you need to be.

In other news, next week there will be something new and exciting that I'll be doing online, and I can't wait for you guys to see it! Yay! More comics for you to read! Oops, I've said too much. Next week!

    I think congratulations are in order! You managed to find a way of sorting out this time-travel thing without breaking all of the rules, and made my last comment on the previous strip look kind of silly. Well done!

    (PS I am now converted to this SHG comic strip. I was still recovering from the loss of the DFC...:(

    I think it must be very cool to have a girlfriend, which can make so beautyfull comics.

    I hope someone tells SHG the secret to make sure her peanutbutter doesn't end up on the floor. I mean, all it takes is one kitty, and the kitty can be reused for this! =^-^=

    (Tie cat, feet away from the bread, to one side of the piece of bread. Put peanutbutter (or butter or jam or whatever else) on the other side. Should bread be dropped, the cat and buttered side of bread will cancel each other out, resulting in a hovering piece of bread (and cat) which is easily picked up.)

    @Robert, that only really works if the kitty has the same mass as the bread with peanut-butter; otherwise whichever has the more mass will overrule the other. Thus, you should either use a small cat or a large piece of bread.

    Wan't Spectacle supposed to be saving the PM? Or at least the kitty, not sure if anybody would mind if she didn't save Evil Stevie.


    @Robert: Problem with your plan is the kitty/bread assembly tends to pick up a wicked spin, with the pointy bits on the outside. Hard to grab then.

    @Robert: There is one big problem with your theory. The cat will land on its feet but then it rolls over your most expensive carpet to get rid of the bread. And after it it ruins your couch because you tied the bread on her back...

    @Anonymous: Actually, neither cat nor bread hit the floor. They counter each other out, so the end result is a hovering feline and buttered (or jammed) bread.

    I am enjoying your comics.

    I have a question though. If Supervillian Girl is just Superhero Girl in the future, then Supervillian Girl should have remembered Superhero Girl's trick and should not have been taken by surprise...

    Unless, Supervillian Girl wasn't really Superhero Girl at all, but in fact a shape-changing alien that transformed into Superhero Girl, somehow gained amnesia, and came to believe that she was actually Superhero Girl. It was really the alien that travelled into the past.

    Please use this idea! Every superhero story must have some retcon. Do it!
