And we find out what superpowers Superhero Girl has. They're pretty standard. I like how Skeptical Guy is really not impressed. Lifting heavy objects, leaping over tall buildings? Boo-ring.
Have you ever met any of the slightly crazed so-called "real-life" superheroes? I think Superhero Girl would have an interesting time with one of those people.
I would think that the landing bit would be the most difficult. Before learning how to jump over tall buildings, you should learn how to land without hurting something.
hey, just cought a glimps of this blog at IO9.COM and it really cought my eye. I really love u'r line-art. u'r poses are exact. lovable charecter. as a "casual superhero" fan i really look forward to the rest of u'r story... gd lck
Just like Thor. He couldn't really fly, he just threw his hammer and ""forgot"" to let go. Even new shows like The Avengers still can't choose one or the other. Sometimes he flies, other times he throws his hammer.
here via IO9 as well and so pleased to find you! Love your character and your choices. Have added you to faves and will share with friends. Cheers from Vancouver!
Great one!
ReplyDeleteI have my comics class read Action Comics #27, and they always think it's hilarious that he couldn't fly but could leap 1/8th of a mile :-)
Yeah, I was really shocked when I found out Superman couldn't fly at the beginning. He was so lame!
ReplyDeleteGreat comic series you have going here! I found it through io9 and I'm glad they posted an article on it. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteCute sceptical guy...
